An off-lead Dog Park just launched in Cork and you can book your pet in now

Is your pup bursting for some off-lead exercise?
A clever new Dog Park just opened for bookings in Ballincollig and local dog owners are thrilled about the new facility.
In case you’re not aware, having a dog off-lead in a public space is illegal in Cork. According to the current bylaws, “no person shall take into or allow to remain in a park, cemetery or open space any dog unless it is on a leash”.
Located on the Killumney Road, Ballincollig Dog Park offers a large grassy space where small and large doggos can bound around energetically without bothering walkers or joggers.

The space is safe and enclosed so you can be sure your pups won’t escape during playtime too.
“We have listened to the demand and after a lot of thought and consideration, we decided to open a safe and secure place to allow our beautiful fur babies to enjoy some much needed off lead time!” the team shared on social media.
Each user can enjoy the space for a 50-minute session for €15, bringing up to six dogs at a time.

The park is unstaffed but CCTV will be in operation and recording at all times with sensors that will notify the management on arrival to ensure no unexpected guests arrive during your time slot.
Once you book, you will be sent a code to unlock the gate. When you leave the park, you simply re-jumble the combination on the box to lock it for the next user.
Book a session here to try it out.
