A zero-waste outdoor market is setting up in Leap’s Myross Wood Estate this Wednesday

Bring your reusable shopping bags.
A host of local, sustainable, and zero waste traders, producers, and makers from all over West Cork are setting up their stalls on the grounds of Myross Wood House in Leap for the first Wednesday Market this week.
The Green Skibbereen event promises plenty of arts and crafts, vintage and collectibles, food and produce, and more, with hopes it will become a regular gig.
Parking is available so visitors can enjoy a stroll through the grounds of the historic estate and house, built in 1820, afterward.

The Wednesday Market will be open from 10.30am until 2pm. If you’re a trader looking for a pitch, you can contact trish@greenskibbereen.ie to book a stall.
Travelling down to West Cork for the market? Myross Wood House now offers a limited number of twin and single rooms for a simple, tranquil stay in a stunning location – super handy for exploring Leap and Union Hall too. You can book one from a rather reasonable €36 now on Airbnb.
