A trendy new €4m padel club opens in the Marina this December

It’s all go down at the Marina.
The team behind Cork City’s first ever Padel Club, The Hive, are busy putting the finishing touches to the €4m project, which will transform a 19,000 sq ft industrial space into a five-court indoor facility.
“The Hive represents more than a club. It’s the beginning of Cork’s next community movement,” said David Farrell, General Manager of The Hive.
“We wanted to bring something unique to Cork and hence the investment, our goal is to create a place where people can move, connect and belong.” he added.

Set to open this December on Monahan Road, The Hive Padel Club is about to become Cork’s newest hotspot for sport and social buzz.
The club will feature five indoor panoramic courts with soaring nine-metre ceilings — perfect for both casual players and those looking to up their game. There are also dedicated coaching and training areas, making it a top-tier spot for anyone keen to get in on the city’s growing padel craze.
But The Hive isn’t just about the matches. There’s also a stylish café and retail space designed to make it a real community hangout — the kind of place where you can grab a coffee, chat with fellow players, and stick around long after your game’s done.
Bookings will be available soon via The Hive app and website, so keep your eyes peeled.
