A Spanish-inspired craft beer brand is bringing ‘the soul of Madrid’ to this Cork bar in May

Summer vibes are coming.
A Spanish-inspired beer brand is hoping to bring ‘El Alma de Madrid’ or the soul of Madrid to Clancy’s Cork in May, with a host of fun (and free) stuff planned.
Madrí Excepcional, the Mediterranean-style lager created by Molson Coors in collaboration with the La Sagra craft brewery in Numancia de la Sagra, Toledo, will arrive at the Princes Street pub for a month-long experience on Thursday, May 4th.
Visitors can enjoy live music with Bazza on May 4th, 5th and 6th from 7pm each evening, with mouthwatering Spanish style tapas served as part of an exclusive menu you can try throughout the month.
“Madrí Excepcional was born through a collaboration with Molson Coors and La Sagra brewery, combining our brewing experience,” said Sophie Mitchell, Senior Brand Manager at Madrí Excepcional.
“We’re excited to bring this collaborative spirit to Cork this month as we create a fusion of cultures at Madrí Excepcional X Clancy’s Cork, with an exceptional lineup of musicians and a collaborated menu.”
Paul Montgomery, owner of Clancy’s Cork said he is delighted to be hosting this “immersive culture clash”, bringing Madrid to the people of Cork: “We believe it’s important to bring these unique experiences into the heart of the city and are delighted to be able to collaborate with Madrí Excepcional for the month of May.” he added.
