A sell-out sensory journey, The Garden of Shadows is coming to Cork this summer

It was a sell-out success in Dublin last year.
Now Cork audiences can experience The Garden of Shadows, a profound sensory journey through the mysteries of the night, as part of the Skibbereen Arts Festival this summer.
The immersive light and sound installation, created by acclaimed UK artist Jony Easterby, will take participants on a trail through the majestic woodlands of Liss Ard Estate after dark from Friday, August 2nd to Monday, August 5th, 2024.

“Running nightly from 9pm to midnight, you’ll arrive by shuttle bus from Skibbereen and set out along an enchanted 1km trail through the stunning grounds of Liss Ard.” the organisers told us.
“Walking at your own pace you’ll encounter magical sound and light installations at every turn. This promises to be an unforgettable experience as you navigate this intriguing woodland, where nature is seen on the edge of darkness and light.”
Following its sold-out run at the National Botanical Gardens at Dublin Fringe Festival 2023, this is a major coup for Skibbereen Arts Festival and is sure to sell out quickly.
Tickets, including the shuttle bus from town, are €20 for adults and €10 for under 16s here.
