A rather good local coffee roaster has opened a new café and art space

Lovely stuff altogether.
If you love decent coffee and you enjoy a browse of interesting knick-knacks, gifts and new work by up-and-coming artists, make a beeline for Bandon.
West Cork Coffee has just opened the doors of its collaboration with Grey Heron, a brand new space “to celebrate locally roasted coffee, local artists and local businesses.”
Head barista Eileen is on duty to look after all your caffeine needs, and the team, led by Inishannon coffee roaster Tony Speight, will also run barista training courses for coffee connoisseurs who want to learn the trade from some of the best in the business.

Opening hours will be 10am – 4pm from Tuesday – Saturday (this may change as the crew settles into their new space) and visitors this week will enjoy a choice between their washed Ethiopian natural Brazilian coffees, served up any which way you like.
The place is stuffed with thoughtful Christmas present ideas so it’s an ideal opportunity to get some pressies ticked off your list while you wait for your morning mocha.
