It’s time to make some Easter memories.

If you’re looking for a way to walk off all that chocolate (while devouring some more) Cork Nature Network is hosting a family a picnic and egg hunt in Beaumont Quarry.

The fun begins on Saturday, April 12th, 2025 at 11am and runs until 1pm on the day.

“Bring the whole family on a thrilling nature quest through the quarry, spotting clues of the plants and animals that call it home.” say the organisers.

“Those who complete the hunt will be rewarded with a chocolate Easter egg! Bring a picnic and enjoy a day of nature, exploration, and fun in one of Cork’s most important urban biodiversity sites.”

Caring for Beaumont Quarry is one of Cork Nature Network’s ongoing projects. This unique site serves as a vital sanctuary for local biodiversity within the city.
