A Cork City coffee shop is arranging Christmas food packages for people in need

This is a lovely idea.
A Cork City coffee shop is reaching out to people in need this Christmas, inviting anyone who is struggling to contact them and collect a small food package during the festive season.
It’s the second year in row that the team at Coffee Scape on Pope’s Quay, run by Croatian couple Inka and Jakob, have offered the quiet assistance.
“We understand that Christmas can be a difficult time of year financially. If you are finding it tough and need some help this Christmas, please drop us a message.” they posted on social media.
“As children, we would place our freshly polished boots in the window on the night before the 6th of December, eagerly waiting for Saint Nicholas to fill them with surprises.”

“As adults, that same night reminds us of something even more meaningful – to spread kindness, offer help, and be a blessing to those who need it most.”
Drop in for coffee and pick up some of their delicious Croatian dishes and Christmas Tree Peanut Bites to help support their efforts.
