‘Tis the season to be creative.

And at The Workshop café, even the chickens are getting on on the act.

The Ballygarvan coffee shop and restaurant has unveiled a new addition to their Christmas decor this year – the chicken coop has been turned into a festive manger for the season.

The café’s lucky resident chickens are now happily clucking about in a custom decorated hen house, complete with multicoloured lights strung from the trees outside and a welcoming Christmas wreath on the front door.

Look out for these adorable rustic log reindeer on your way in too…

Inside, the tearooms have been transformed into a Christmas wonderland too, so human visitors can enjoy hot chocolate and warm apple crumble under twinkly lights by the fireside.
