A Cork brewery just unveiled an intriguing new Vanilla Milk Stout

Listen up, stout drinkers.
A Cork brewery has been working on a brand new recipe designed to lure you away from your usual pint of Murphy’s or creamy Beamy.
Fresh from the success of their SOMA coffee stout, launched late last year, Rising Sons’ new seasonal beer, a Vanilla Milk Stout, is now available in Rising Sons on Cornmarket Street as well as in Cork Heritage Pubs all over the city.
A modern stout (4.6%), this one boasts flavours of chocolate, coffee and a warm vanilla finish – yum.

“Unlike traditional draught stouts, it is lightly carbonated giving a very smooth texture, making for an easy-drinking beer. Perfect for this time of year.” Saoirse McCabe told Yay Cork.
There’s also a new extra-pale ale in the works; Wild Card (4.5%) is hopped with citra, strata and nelson hops for “an abundance of tropical flavours of mango, pineapple, and gooseberry.”
An ideal treat for spring and into the warm summer days ahead, Wild Card will be available in Rising Sons and Cork Heritage Pubs at the end of February.
