A cool new studio and Art Lab opens in an old Shandon Street newsagents this weekend

A number of pieces are already complete.
But Widderling’s Lane is in line for even more transformation this summer, taking the city thoroughfare from dowdy laneway to outdoor art gallery… and it’s all thanks to the team behind CEART, an exciting city initiative that, up until recently, has operated from Myo Café on Pope’s Quay,
Now, this weekend in fact, CEART is opening up its new studio space and Art Lab in the old J Nolan Newsagents at 22 Shandon Street to the curious public, offering us all a chance to peek inside and to find out more about the open air gallery project.
Stevie G will be spinning some tunes on Sunday, March 22nd, with a free pop-up ceramics workshop and DJ workshop on the day between 2pm and 5pm.

Open to ages 16–35 across the north side, CEART will provide a supportive setting for workshops, collaboration and creative expression.
Pop in and say hello this weekend or email hello@justceart.org for more information.
