A comic book workshop that’s strictly for grown-ups? Yep; and it’s free to go along
Were you a comic book kid?
If you’re nostalgic for the days when you could while away an afternoon deep in an issue of The Beano or The Dandy, an upcoming workshop could be just the thing to get your creative juices flowing.
Comic creators Podge Daly and Colin O’Mahoney will be leading a series of free tutorials for people aged over 18 at The Lido Building on Watercourse Road in Blackpool, kicking off at the end of the month.
Funded by CETB and CCAL, no prior experience or knowledge is required; the experienced tutors will guide you through everything you need to know and put you on track to get started.
All participants will help create a collaborative comic, which will be printed by Cork Community Art Link.

The nine-week course will run on Tuesday nights from 7pm to 9pm from April 26th to June 21st, 2022.
