A brand new pizza place opens on Gilabbey Street this weekend
The team has been working hard for opening day.
Cork’s newest pizza spot is about the shake up the scene with their new NYC-style slice shop.
The new owners at Boxt Pizza open the doors to their Gilabbey Street parlour today, Saturday, October 7th, and will be serving up a storm to hungry customers and those looking to get a taste of that fine New York-style goodness.
The menu is set to include slices, full 20-inch pies, fountain soda, milkshakes, and soft serve ice-cream
“We will be opening on Saturday the 7th at 12 pm and we will be open seven days a week 12pm-10pm Sunday-Thursday and 12pm-11pm Friday and Saturday,” Boxt told Yay Cork as they put the finishing touches on their shop before opening hour.
The crew behind the new outlet? Why it’s none other than Cork-favourites Oak Fire Pizza.
“After an incredible decade of success spanning many different locations and countless cherished memories, Oak Fire Pizza is thrilled to announce the birth of its sister restaurant, BOXT. Oak Fire Pizza is proud to be born in Cork and will continue to serve the Corkonians with their favorite pizza,” Oak Fire Pizza told followers on Instagram.
