A Bishopstown shop has made the kindest gesture to help out local families

This is too sweet.
As we step into colder, wetter, and much darker nights, Herlihy’s Centra Bishopstown has come up with a way to show some good old community spirit.
The popular shop is offering a haven for school kids if they (inevitably) miss their bus or a lift during the school year.
In what will be a huge relief for lots of mums and dads, the Centra has said that their store is always open as a safe and friendly place for children and teens to keep warm and they can offer their phone to anyone who needs it in a pinch.
The post, which now has over 1,000 engagements on Facebook, explains that Herlihy’s Centra is “always here to help, especially now that the evenings are getting darker and winter is closing in on us” and reminded parents to “never be stuck” if their child misses their ride home.
That’s community spirit at its best.
