A stylish new coastal sauna offers unobstructed moody views of the sea

Coosheen Coastal Sauna has opened in Schull, offering a simple new way to warm up, switch off and spend some time by the coast.
The new sauna, the latest venture by Daniel Morgan of DM Fitness, is starting small, with just eight seats, creating a more intimate experience for anyone looking to escape the busyness of everyday life. And if you’ve been meaning to try the sauna trend without committing to a fancy spa day, this could be a pretty accessible place to start.
Coosheen Coastal Sauna will officially open its doors this Saturday and Sunday, 15th and 16th August, with morning sessions available at 8am, 9am and 10am.
Sessions cost €15 per person, with bookings currently being taken via WhatsApp.

The idea behind the sauna is simple: slow down, warm up, switch off and enjoy a bit of coastal sauna time. There’s no elaborate wellness retreat or packed itinerary – just some time to yourself, a hot sauna and the West Cork coast on your doorstep.
The owners say they’re starting small while they find their rhythm, with more information and session times set to follow as the new business gets settled.
