Egyptian food truck Cairo2Cork will pop-up in Ballyphehane this weekend

That’s dinner sorted.
Egyptian street food favourites Cairo2Cork are rolling into Ballyphehane this weekend for a special pop-up at The Tory Top Bar.
Nivene Sadick’s super popular restaurant on wheels is without a permanent home at the moment, after all food trucks were ordered to leave the Fifth Quarter Plaza on Paul Street in Cork City Centre last month.
A new location will be revealed soon, according to teasers posted this week on social media:

While we await news of what’s next for the viral food truck, from 4:30pm onwards this Saturday, July 4th, the team will be serving up a range of freshly prepared dishes inspired by classic Egyptian flavours, including grilled chicken fillet burgers, shawarma wraps, beef burgers, and tasty kids’ meals in Cork’s southside.
Known for bringing a modern twist to traditional Egyptian street food, Cairo2Cork has been building a following across Cork with its bold flavours and generous portions.
The pop-up at The Tory Top Bar offers an easy chance for customers in the area to sample the food truck’s menu without heading into the city centre, with service running from late afternoon into the evening.
