Coffee, cake and a bit of circus magic: Meet the neighbours at this city coffee morning

It’s a fine excuse to finally meet the neighbours.
Douglas Street Business Association is serving up a wholesome weekend morning complete with slow coffee, good cake, music in the background and a chance to actually talk to the people living just down the road.
On Saturday, June 13th, from 11am to 1pm, the South Parish Community Centre on Sawmill Street is the venue for a relaxed Coffee Morning designed for neighbours old and new to come together, chat, and ease into the weekend properly.
There’ll be plenty of coffee and homemade cake on offer, a bit of live music to set the tone, and entertainment from the always-fun UpDown Circus Festival crew.

It’s family-friendly, drop-in friendly, and very much “bring yourself as you are” friendly — whether that’s with kids in tow, after a late Friday night, or just looking for an excuse to get out of the apartment and into a bit of community buzz.
In a city where everyone’s always on the move, this is a rare invitation to slow down for a couple of hours, sit back with a slice of cake, and remember there are actual humans living all around you.
All local residents are welcome to pop in,
