A city coffee shop is throwing a BYOB pop-up Pinxto party

Boru Coffee is serving up another summer takeover this June.
This time it’s blending top-tier food, laid-back drinks and serious weekend energy.
On Sunday, June 28th, the café will host round two of its summer pop-up series, following a well-received sandwich collaboration with the Aloe Vera Club crew. Next up, Boru is teaming up with Pintxo for an afternoon that sounds more like a relaxed house party than your average café visit.
Behind the food is serious talent: Sergio Gurrea, head chef at Da Mirco, alongside chef-forager Epi Rogan, who’ll be taking over the kitchen with a menu built for grazing. Think girolles on toast, proper gildas, classic Spanish tortilla, and chilled vermut preparado flowing throughout the afternoon.
The vibe is deliberately loose — walk-ins only from 2pm, with guests encouraged to drop in, grab a bite, bring a bottle and settle in for the day.

Soundtracking it all will be DJ Jon Barry, spinning a mix of hip hop, reggae, dub, soul and R&B to keep things ticking along nicely in the background.
“Come hungry, ready to throw some shapes/dance moves and get a ‘lil tipsy,” they added.
Sounds like a plan, says us.
