Sad news for coffee lovers as Cork’s prettiest Parisian-inspired café closes

Non, je ne regrette rien.
It’s a case of onwards and upwards for café owner, singer and former RTE presenter Morgan Deane, who has announced that her Parisian-pink coffee shop has closed with immediate effect.
The Garden, which opened in March in Parkwest, next to Mallow’s Tesco, quickly gained fans who loved the decor, featuring a mural of an ancient Roman garden, a custom made ivy cruz faux flower wall blooming with peonies and roses, and tables topped with busts of ancient Roman gods.
Plato sat stoically between the barista and the customers at the till.
Announcing the news on Instagram, Morgan confirmed that, while the café was thriving, she is ready to take a new direction professionally. The Garden will refund all vouchers from this Monday, January 5th.
“We had a great shop, great coffee, great customers but I just want to try something else.” Morgan shared with Yay Cork.

“I tried coffee but I wasn’t loving it. I want to give something else a go, I’m lucky to have the luxury to try different things in life, maybe back up in the city where I’m from is my next venture.” she added.
