Kinsale has introduced free parking in all the town car parks until January
Here’s another excuse for a seaside spin.
The town of Kinsale has introduced free parking for the festive season, inviting visitors to explore the shops and restaurants without returning to top up their tickets.
“We’re delighted to share that free parking is coming to Kinsale for the festive season!” announced Kinsale Chamber of Tourism and Business.
“From 1st December to 4th January inclusive, both on-street parking and Cork County Council car parks in Kinsale will be free to use — with normal time restrictions still in place.”

This initiative is part of a wider county-wide effort to support communities and encourage everyone to enjoy their local towns throughout December.
“Wander the streets, browse the boutiques, enjoy a coffee or meal, and embrace the magic of Christmas in Kinsale — with free parking to make it all a little easier.” they added.
