Weather: Mostly dry for the weekend in Cork with hazy 17C sunshine

The weekend is loading.
And according to Met Éireann, there should be plenty of opportunity to get out and enjoy the autumn vibes in the coming days as high pressure brings largely settled conditions.
Today starts off on the bright side, with hazy sunshine although clouds will slowly gatecrash the afternoon party. By tonight, the rain arrives and that will hang around until at least morning.
But here’s the good news: Saturday is shaping up to be a proper weekend win. Once the rain clears we’re looking at a mostly dry day with actual sunshine making appearances.
Temperatures could hit a very respectable 17°C, which in Irish terms is basically “beer garden weather.” Just bring a light jacket for the odd passing shower, and you’ll be grand.
Sunday? More of the same, really. A few scattered showers, but nothing to ruin your plans. Sunshine will still be about, breezes stay light, and temperatures hover in the mid-teens.
Bonus points for allergy sufferers: pollen levels are low, and the UV index is low to moderate — so you can leave the hay fever tablets and sun cream at home for once.
In short: A dry-ish, bright-ish, pleasantly mild weekend.
