Birdsong is firing up the grill for a drop-in pop-up lunch at Coughlan’s Bar

You’ll be needing some sustenance.
If you’re headed into town on the Sounds from a Safe Harbour trail this weekend, Birdsong in the City is firing up the grill for a one-day-only pop-up at Coughlan’s Bar on Sunday, September 14th, bringing smoky flavours to the festival buzz in Cork City.
Known for its playful twists on seasonal ingredients, Birdsong, a pop-up by the fine folk behind The Glass Curtain on Mac Curtain Street, is setting up shop in the heart of Douglas Street for the day.
Darren Kennedy and Matt Szpak will be joining Glass Curtain owner Brian Murray on the grill on the day, serving up milk bun sandwiches and more alongside cold beers.

Festival-goers can slip in for a midday feast that pairs perfectly with the city’s soundtrack from 1pm until 4pm (or until they sell out), turning lunch into another reason to linger a little longer by the Lee.
