6 tasty reasons to hit the road for FEAST Fest in Midleton this year

By Yay Cork August 28, 2025August 27, 2025

It keeps getting bigger.

FEAST: East Cork’s Food & Drink Festival, returns to Midleton from September 2nd – 7th 2025, promising six days of vibrant flavours, immersive dining experiences, family fun, and community celebrations.

This year, conversation takes centre stage with a new FEAST Talk Stage, a hub of food storytelling and dialogue at Studio Five.

The stage will feature a series of talks and discussions hosted by Dee Laffan, exploring our food culture: past, present, and future. Expect conversations ranging from the new wave of restaurants shaping Midleton’s dining scene, to memories of the kitchen table, to the legacy of Irish food pioneers, the challenges of growing, and the evolving world of Irish drink and pub culture.

Here are six more FEAST events we’re earmarking for next week:

Taste & Dine
A farm-to-fork feast will take place at Yellow Belly Farm on September 6th (tickets €65 here) with a guided farm walk, a welcome glass of prosecco, and a surprise vegetarian menu created from freshly picked organic produce.

Foodies can also enjoy an immersive dining experience at Ballyvolane House, crafted with produce from East Cork’s best producers, and a Forage and Fire afternoon at Ballyvolane House.

Learn & Sip
On Wednesday, September 3rd you can take a full-day, hands-on Barista Workshop coffee experience designed for both beginners and coffee enthusiasts ready to refine their skills (€125 at The Fork and Wheel).

The programme also includes cocktail masterclasses, and craft beer tastings led by artisan makers.

Celebrate Together
The Official Opening Party at Midleton Distillery Experience and, on Sunday, September 7th, the famous Main Street Festival with more than 70 independent vendors setting up from 10am.

EBS Family Fun
The EBS Family Zone at the Fair Green will offer hands-on activities, a mini-zoo, Cool Food School workshops, and entertainment for all ages. There’s also a Lego workshop for kids of all ages.

Eat Sustainably. Shop Preloved

A special fEeast Midleton collaboration between Heirlooms by Orla McAndrew and Peach Vintage Clothing, this event invites guests to discover how food and fashion can work together for a better planet.

Tickets, €5, are available online or at the door (pre-booking recommended).

Foodie Challenges
Kick-start the week with a gourmet-themed table quiz at J.J. Coppinger’s – 8pm on Tuesday, September 2nd, no booking required.

Programme details and tickets are available now at Feastcork.ie.
