6 tasty reasons to hit the road for FEAST Fest in Midleton this year

It keeps getting bigger.
FEAST: East Cork’s Food & Drink Festival, returns to Midleton from September 2nd – 7th 2025, promising six days of vibrant flavours, immersive dining experiences, family fun, and community celebrations.
This year, conversation takes centre stage with a new FEAST Talk Stage, a hub of food storytelling and dialogue at Studio Five.

The stage will feature a series of talks and discussions hosted by Dee Laffan, exploring our food culture: past, present, and future. Expect conversations ranging from the new wave of restaurants shaping Midleton’s dining scene, to memories of the kitchen table, to the legacy of Irish food pioneers, the challenges of growing, and the evolving world of Irish drink and pub culture.
Here are six more FEAST events we’re earmarking for next week:
Taste & Dine
A farm-to-fork feast will take place at Yellow Belly Farm on September 6th (tickets €65 here) with a guided farm walk, a welcome glass of prosecco, and a surprise vegetarian menu created from freshly picked organic produce.
Foodies can also enjoy an immersive dining experience at Ballyvolane House, crafted with produce from East Cork’s best producers, and a Forage and Fire afternoon at Ballyvolane House.
Learn & Sip
On Wednesday, September 3rd you can take a full-day, hands-on Barista Workshop coffee experience designed for both beginners and coffee enthusiasts ready to refine their skills (€125 at The Fork and Wheel).
The programme also includes cocktail masterclasses, and craft beer tastings led by artisan makers.
