Get a flash tattoo at The Black Poppy and help out kids with Autism

Put a paws on your next tattoo for a sec’.
The Black Poppy Tattoo Parlour has announced a special Tattoo Flash Sale on August 2nd in support of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland.
The one-day-only event will take place at No. 7-8 Winthrop Street Centre, Cork City from 11am to 6.30pm on the day.
AADI provides life-changing autism assistance dogs to autistic children and families across Ireland, helping to improve safety, independence, and overall quality of life.
“Our team is passionate about giving back to the community, and this event is a fantastic way to combine art with charity.” said Jake, owner of The Black Poppy Tattoo Parlour.
“By getting a tattoo, you’ll not only leave with a beautiful new piece but also contribute to a meaningful cause that changes lives for autistic children and their families across Ireland.”
A series of tattoo flash designs will be available on the day of the event with affordable prices and it’s all on a first-come, first-served basis.
AADI Community Fundraising Lead Erin McEveney said “Behind every success story lies a deeper truth: AADI doesn’t receive any government funding. Every dog we train, every family we support, and every life we change is only possible because of community support. Without support like yours, we wouldn’t be able to tell these stories.”
“The reality is, for every child we help, there are many more waiting—families desperate for the safety, stability, and hope that our autism assistance dogs provide. Training these extraordinary dogs costs €25,000 per dog and requires significant resources and unwavering commitment.
“We simply cannot do it alone.”
