At The Parson’s House, a new addition has been designed especially for the cat

Listen up, cat lovers of Cork.
If your feline friends are reduced to clambering over your fences and gates in order to roam the garden, the creative folks down at The Parson’s House in Churchtown, North Cork have shared an innovative (and adorable) solution.
Mary-Claire Waters and Sean Sully Sullivan, who showcased their incredible Georgian home transformation on The Great House Revival with architect Hugh Wallace, are still busily working away on their stunning property.
The latest addition? A DIY cat gate, custom made for their pet, Samson.

“Cat-gate, or as Sully calls it “the best thing we ever did.” said Mary-Claire, posting the video on Instagram.
Carpenter Sully put his skills to good use working to a hilariously simple design by Mary Claire; a simple cat shaped cut-out complete with ears.
Assembled and painted in a smart black shade, the gate is a fabulous addition to their garden. TBH we all want one.
