But just so you know, Lab82 Roastery and Bakery on the Lower Glanmire Road has just dropped two new breakfast items that are practically begging you to reconsider.

You won’t find these anywhere else in town, for reasons that will soon become deliciously apparent.

First, for the carnivores, there’s Lab82’s Breakfast Spicebag (€15.90), which involves pudding, sausage, bacon and chorizo chips tossed with red pepper and crispy onions in Lab82’s signature house spice blend, served with garlic mayo on the side.

If you’re craving something sugary, The Sweet Spicebag (€10.90) is a heaping serving of brownie bites, cookie chunks and marshmallows tossed in a light sugar spice blend. Naturally, this one comes with a Kinder sauce on the side for dunking.

“Now that “spice bag” is officially in the English dictionary we’ve decided to do our own twist on it.” the Lab82 team announced.

“We’ve dropped not one, but two spice bags: one for the brekkie lovers, and one for the sweet tooth crew.”

Lab82 is open Thursdays 9.30am to 3pm and Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9.30am to 5pm.
