The Glucksman is hosting a free kids’ workshop for National Drawing Day

Get ready to unleash your inner Picasso.
The Glucksman Museum crew is throwing a free and fun workshop for National Drawing Day, Saturday, May 17th.
From 11 am to 12 pm, the Glucksman will be buzzing with creative energy as they show kids aged 8 to 12 some seriously cool drawing tricks. Forget your boring old stick figures – they’ll be diving into innovative stuff like continuous line drawing (try drawing something without lifting your pen) and even wire drawing.
They’ll be taking inspiration from the amazing exhibitions the museum has on display, so you’re guaranteed to see some incredible art and get those creative juices flowing.

It’s all about making your own unique masterpiece, and the best part? It’s totally free!
Booking is essential. So, get your grown-ups to hop online and snag a spot before they all disappear.
While you’re hanging out around the Glucksman (which, by the way, is a seriously gorgeous modern building nestled in the University College Cork campus), why not make a day of it?
Stroll through UCC, perfect for a little wander before or after your arty adventure, grab some tasty treats and find a spot along the river for a picnic, then explore Fitzgerald’s Park across the road.
