The Repair Café is back at The Lough this Sunday afternoon

Do you have something that needs fixing?
Instead of throwing it out, you can bring it along to the Lough Community Centre in Cork city this Sunday, March 30th, where a team of DIY experts will be on hand to help you repair it for free.
From 2pm to 5pm on the day, you can pop in with your broken toaster, dodgy bicycle, old toys or ancient lamp and find out how to get the problem sorted.
No matter how big or small your item, chances are somebody will be able to help you figure out the issues.

“Or if you like fixing things, come on by to help out and share your expertise.” the Cork Repair Café group announced.
Last call for repairs is at 4.30pm and everybody’s welcome to drop by for a cup of tea and a chat to find out what the event is all about.

The idea is to keep good items out of landfill, but it could also save you cash on replacing stuff that really only needs a bit of tweaking to get it going again.
