Get your skates on for a Double Roller Disco at the Marina Market
Dust off the roller skates.
The Marina Market is hosting not one but two Roller Discos at the Ballintemple venue later this month.
First up, Friday evening, March 21st invites you to skate your way through the glorious 80s and 90s, with a soundtrack packed with the absolute best bangers. Think neon, big hair. The fun begins at 6.30pm.
The next morning Saturday, March 22nd is a Disney Disco, perfect for families and anyone who wants to relive their childhood dreams. Imagine gliding around the rink to all your favourite Disney hits, from “Under the Sea” to “Let It Go.” It’s gonna be pure, wholesome joy from 10am.

If you’re looking for a new hobby, roller skating is an excellent aerobic exercise that elevates your heart rate, improving cardiovascular fitness. Tons more fun than slogging it out at the gym, it works various muscle groups, particularly in the lower body, including the glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves and it even engages core muscles for balance and stability.
