“When words fail, let the drip speak.”

That’s the message from the folks at 5 Points Café on MacCurtain Street this week as they drop their brand new sandwich, The Birria.

The crew describe the sambo as a masterpiece that’s leaving customers speechless: “Juicy, messy, and absolutely worth it.” they add.

So what’s in it? One for the dedicated carnivores, the Birria sandwich involves tender, slow-cooked beef dipped in rich consommé, melted cheese, and sauteéd onions, all tucked into two slices of perfectly toasted sourdough bread.

Oh, and if that wasn’t outrageous enough, it comes with a little pot of hot honey that you slather all over it. Pure comfort food bliss.

The Birria launches today at the busy café so if you cancel your lunch plans you can be one of the first to try it.
