The masterminds behind Maharani are Cork-based husband-and-wife team, Robert Barrett and Bhagya Barrett whose passion for the perfect pour shines through in every sip.

Signature spices are ethically sourced from a female-run cooperative in Kerala, India, resulting in a citrus-forward gin with a touch of sweetness and a warm finish.

The signature serve is the High Queen: 35mls of Maharani Gin topped with a classic tonic water of your choice and served with a wedge of juicy grapefruit or orange and some mint leaves.

Simple to put together (you can pick up all the ingredients in Dunnes) it’s the perfect drink for toasting the autumn sunshine.
