Met Éireann has extended this morning’s rain warning for Cork

It’s pretty soggy out there.
And it looks like the rain will be hanging around a little longer than expected.
Met Éireann has extended this morning’s Status Yellow Rain warning from 10am until 11am, with ‘heavy and persistent rain’ for Cork and Waterford.
Potential impacts include localised flooding and difficult travelling conditions, so be careful out there if you’re on the road early.
Outdoor events are expected to be impacted too.
“Rain will clear through the late morning and early afternoon.” say the forecasters.
A wet start for most today with rain🌧️, heavy at times☔️.
Rain will clear from the W through the morning, with the last of the rain clearing from the SE around mid-afternoon, giving way to sunny spells & isolated showers🌦️.
