Nano Nagle Place is now opening its museum and (brilliant) gift shop on Mondays

It’s a gem of a spot to find an interesting pressie.
And now the brilliant gift shop at Nano Nagle Place on Douglas Street, along with the award-winning museum, will be open even longer each day this month and throughout August.
You can visit Nano Nagle Place from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 5pm, all summer, where you can stock up on clever gifts such as handmade book covers and a thoughtful selection of books or shop beautiful prints of Cork landmarks by Hurrah Hurrah, local candles and handmade jewellery and home decor.
“We are delighted to keep our doors open seven days a week during the most exciting time of the year in Cork,” said John Smith, CEO of Nano Nagle Place.

“It is a privilege to offer public access to our one-of-a-kind heritage site and beautifully appointed museum now on Mondays to better serve our guests.”
As part of this summer’s unique offerings, visitors can also enjoy an exclusive walking tour of the South Parish buildings every Thursday throughout the month of July. Normally closed to the public, exploring by foot the sites that make up one of the oldest parts of the city is an ideal way for guests to experience a lesser-known walk-through history, revealing intimate layers of Cork’s past.
Summer festivities at the venue also include participation in the Playful Culture Trail, a collaboration of museums, galleries, and venues across Cork City to celebrate play, learning and creativity. This fun, family-friendly activity invites children to interact with local attractions and engage their inner sustainable artists.
