Paloma Day is coming and there’s really no good reason not to celebrate in Cork
It’s the national drink of Mexico.
But here on Leeside, one Cork bar is going all out to celebrate the Paloma, a refreshing cocktail made with tequila and grapefruit soda, on May 26th.
To mark World Paloma Day, NV on Oliver Plunkett Street is inviting fans of the zingy pink drink to join them for an evening of fun celebrations.
This citrusy sipper is a fruity cocktail rimmed with salt for that extra “I’m on a beach somewhere” vibe and if you’ve never tried it, this is the perfect opportunity to give it a bash and toast the summer.

As well as sipping Patron cocktails, tequila lovers can flex their creative muscles and paint their own cocktail glass.
There’s even a prize for best dressed; just arrive wearing Paloma colours: pink and orange.
The fun begins on Sunday, May 26th at 5pm ’til late.
