A popular West Cork restaurant is interrupting its regular service to host a very special dinner for an excellent cause on Thursday, May 23rd.
Monks Lane in Timoleague has announced details of Countless Candles: A Night for the Children of Gaza, a five-course feast of Palestinian food, with every penny of the proceeds going to Unicef and Ghassan Abu Sittah Children’s Fund, which provides medical attention to the children who need it the most in Gaza.
“As our hearts continue to break at the slaughter and destruction in Gaza we will host a special night in solidarity to send some little love and support to the Children of Gaza.” the organisers said on Instagram.
