Planning drinks with a thrill-seeker?

If you’ve been known to enjoy a spicy marg or two of an evening, one Cork bar is the only spot to hit.

The Liberty on South Main Street has joined forces with local company Tongue Tied Hot Sauce to collab on a new Margarita Menu and the result is as much a dare as it is a delight.

There are three special Tongue Tied Margaritas to choose from:

• Spiced Kiwi – Jalapeno & Apple (Consigliere) – Mild
• Roast Carrot – Red Chilli & Orange (Capo) – Medium
• Smoked Pineapple – Habanero (Capo dei Capi) – Hot

Our advice is to start with a mild tipple and work your way up to inferno level.

“We approached Felix and Alex about working together and to see how we could also help promote their sauces,” said the Liberty manager, Stephen.

“Felix always wanted to make a sauce that could be paired with everything and a sauce for everyone, and Alex who worked in a cheffing background was always playing around with recipes.

“As well as purchasing their hot sauce to use in our menu, we also wanted to help promote the product so we built a custom display and even sell the sauces in the bar for them.”

The bar is hoping to do the same for some of their other suppliers, providing a unique space to promote and sell their products.
