Here’s your invitation to an All-Day Brunch launch party (hi Fried Chicken Benny)

By Katie Mythen-Lynch May 1, 2024April 30, 2024

TBH, it’s the best meal of the week.

And if you love brunch as much as we do, now you can enjoy it every day of the week at Ballincollig’s Good for the Soul café, which is launching a new All-Day Brunch menu this Saturday, May 4th… and throwing a bit of a hoolie to celebrate.

“We have taken some of the GFTS favourites from the weekend brunch menu and given them a little boost and will now feature them all week,” they told Yay Cork.

Ones to try include the Fried Chicken Benny; American style biscuits (savoury scones to us!) topped with GFTS relish, fried chicken, poached eggs and chipotle hollandaise and the GFTS Royale, The Good Fish Co. smoked salmon, poached eggs, house pickles, hollandaise, and capers.

There’s also a Fiery Benedict with pulled honey-baked ham, Ballyfin Farm poached eggs, hollandaise and house hot sauce.

French toast fans should absolutely go straight for the Citrus & Vanilla Mascarpone with ginger and walnut crumble, fresh fruit, caramelised pears, and berry compote.

“We are very excited for the full launch of the All Day Brunch menu this Saturday and will have a DJ in for the afternoon to keep everyone bopping along!” they added.

Mark your calendars, set your alarms, and maybe even plan to “work from home” (wink, wink)—because starting this Saturday, brunch isn’t just for weekends anymore.

The full all-day brunch menu is available for your perusal over here.
