You can walk, run or skip for a brilliant cause at this family-friendly bank holiday fundraiser

Planning your bank holiday activities?
If you fancy getting the gang out for a bit of exercise and fresh air on Saturday, May 4th, a brilliant local group could do with your help.
West Cork’s pioneering mixed-ability rugby squad, the West Cork Jesters, are holding a fundraiser from 10am in Pairc Na gCearta (Forge Park), Rosscarbery.
The fun family-friendly day out will see participants run, walk, hop, or skip together to raise much-needed funds for the local rugby squad whose emphasis is on promoting inclusivity in sport.
“With players from Kilbrittain to Kenmare, and everywhere in between, Jesters’ teams play full-on contact rugby aided by experienced players, some who act as shadow players, which allows everyone to participate,” they told us.
