Met Éireann is predicting 19C sunshine today as Cork gets a little taste of summer

It’s a different country when the sun shines.
And you can expect to be hearing that old line again and again this week as we all start to remember what a bit of warm weather feels like.
Met Éireann is predicting a balmy start to the week throughout Monday, which will be dry with spells of sunshine, but a little cloudier than yesterday.
Highest temperatures will range from 16 to 19 degrees in light to moderate northerly winds; positively balmy, compared to the chilly nights and oppressive drizzle we’ve been enduring of late.
Monday will be another largely dry day but there will be more cloud about than in recent days, especially across the north & east of the country with the chance of the odd shower there☁️🌦️

We can expect a decent amount of dry weather initially as the week rolls on, but by midweek, things could get a bit more unsettled.
Some cloudier conditions are expected across Munster on Tuesday with occasional light rain or drizzle and highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees generally.
Wednesday will be a cooler day all ’round and rather cloudy with scattered patches of light of rain and drizzle and highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
In the meantime, grab some sunnies and take your cuppa outside.
