Feeling crafty? Take a Lino Printing Workshop in Kinsale’s adorable Temperance Hall

Calling all Cork creatives aged over 12.
Fancy getting your hands on something a bit different next weekend? Head for Kinsale and you can take part in a lino printing workshop with John Bastow, the resident lino whizz at Solas Agus Scáth.
This beginner-friendly session, happening in the Temperance Hall on Sunday, April 28th, is the perfect way to unleash your inner artist, even if you reckon your stick figures are something special.
John will be there to guide you through the whole process, from carving your design onto the lino block to inking it up and creating your very own mini prints.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be a pro (well, kind of!), and you’ll get to take home your carving; a set of your own unique, one-of-a-kind prints. So whether you’re picturing a scenic Kinsale scene or a special message to gift to someone, this is your chance to make it happen.
John’s a self-taught artist who’s been lino printing for over 15 years, so you’re in good hands. Plus, he’s a proud member of the Cork Craft and Design group, so you know he knows his stuff.
Spaces are limited and tickets are available now (€35) over on Eventbrite.
