All these Cork saunas are giving their takings to a Gaza charity this Friday

Long week?
If you’re ready to kick back and take some time out for an excellent cause this Friday, a number of Cork saunas are taking part in the Gaza fundraiser Heat for Humanity on Friday, March 8th.
“On Friday we will be hosting Heat for Humanity, a collective effort by a group of sauna owners to raise vital funding to assist family friends to escape the brutal war and leave Gaza.” explained the Wilder Cork crew, who are based at Garretstown Beach.
“Each sauna will have different offers which we will share over the next few days. At Wilder we will be open from 10am to 2pm and 100% of the days income will be donated to the campaign.
“The Alaloul family (two parents, three sons, two daughters, and one nephew) are trapped in Gaza. Their home, once a sanctuary, has been burned down, and they have been evacuating from one place to another since the first week of the ongoing brutal war.

“They are emotionally and physically devastated, starved and dehydrated. As long as they stay in Gaza their lives are in grave danger. They urgently need your support to leave Gaza. We would be incredibly grateful if you could support this campaign in any way you can.”
The Sweaty Sanctuary in Inch Beach, East Cork, MyHaven in Oysterhaven Bay, and Swede Sauna on Roberts Cove Beach are also among those in Cork taking part.
If you can’t make the event, you can still donate to Heat for Humanity here.
