And if you’re on the lookout for ways to elevate Hump Day into something to be enjoyed, there’s a tasty little event for wine lovers planned for this Wednesday, March 6th.

Bubble Brothers are hosting an informal wine tasting at the Bright Side café on Washington Street from 7pm to 10pm on the night.

“We’re expecting a guest from the very local Killahora Orchards, and we have plenty of new wines to show off from around the world,” they told us.

“There’ll be a selection of wines and some matching appetisers, plus information and anecdotes about each wine. A friendly evening, all in all, in very agreeable surroundings.”

Agreeable indeed. Spots are bookable now, €25 over here, and guests are asked to bring their order confirmation along as their ticket.
