Planning a romantic stroll? Here’s the Valentine’s Day weather for Cork

Off somewhere nice?
If you’re picturing a romantic Valentine’s Day stroll somewhere picturesque, hand-in-hand with your amour (or you’re just wondering if you need to wear wellies while waiting for the bus) the good news is that Met Éireann is forecasting “a lot of dry weather” in Cork on Wednesday.
While there will be some patchy light rain or drizzle at times (a band of more persistent light rain will push up from the south later in the day) it will be mild overall, with highest temperatures of 12 to 14 degrees in moderate southwest winds.
Thursday looks set to bring a mix of sunshine and scattered showers, with temperatures ranging between 10 to 13 degrees by day and between five to eight degrees after dark.
