If only there was a handy spot to get some juice on the go.

Instead of hoping for the mercy of a kindly barman or café owner, now you can swing by Cork City Library on the Grand Parade, where they’ve just installed a brand new phone charging locker.

Not only does it charge your phone in one of eight different trays, but it’ll also sanitise it, which is handy given that studies have shows our phones generally carry more than times more bacteria than a toilet seat.

“We have installed charging units in many of our libraries to allow people charge and sanitise their devices safely and securely.” the Library management shared on X.
