Cork Zine Fest is back with a timely little Collectors’ Market

This year it’s right in the city centre.
Cork Zine Fest makes a return on Saturday, December 9th and Sunday, December 10th, showcasing the diverse world of zine artistry.
This year’s festival promises to be a celebration of creativity and self-expression, hosted by Creativity and Change at MTU Gallery, 46 Grand Parade. After a successful event in Shandon last year, the festival has moved to the city centre location.
Zines, short for “fanzines,” are independently published works, typically produced in small batches of fewer than 1,000 copies.
This inclusive art form is driven by passion rather than profit, making it accessible to anyone with a love for creating.

Artists from across Ireland will descend on Leeside for the weekend to share their unique creations.
The market, open from 10 am to 5 pm on both Saturday and Sunday, invites everyone to immerse themselves in the world of zine art.
Attendees will have the chance to explore the artistic brilliance on display, engage with creators, and gain insight into the stories behind each zine. And beyond being a showcase for zines, the Collectors’ Market will also feature a diverse array of paper products.
Entry is free and no pre-registration is required this year.
That’s the weekend plans sorted.
