Benchspace is hosting its first ever Cork-made Christmas Market
From bench to gift.
That’s the motto of the brand-new makers market being hosted in Ireland’s first creative manufacturing hub down in the Marina Commercial Park this December.
Benchspace took to their social media this week to announce its first-ever Christmas market, presenting work by the makers and shakers in the hub to give people the opportunity to purchase one-of-a-kind gifts and support local craftspeople.
Attendees can expect to find creations by goldsmiths, woodworkers, and jewellery makers, as well as unique soft furnishings, furniture, lampshades, and more by a whole host of Irish start-ups, artists, designers, and craftspeople who make their creations in Benchspace.
Every piece is unique and locally made, crafted within Benchspace and locally sourced materials. A little robin told Yay Cork that there will also be mulled wine available to purchase at the market as well as a few more Christmassy surprises.
“Find a perfect, original gift, support local, and celebrate the season of giving with us,” said the Benchspace crew on Instagram.
