Two Cork eco-clothing line founders will be part of this eye-opening live discussion

By Maria Wilson November 4, 2023November 6, 2023

It’s more than a buzzword.

The founders of two uber eco-chic Cork clothing lines will be part of a free discussion on sustainability and the future of fashion at the Republic of Work later this month.

Tom Cotter, CEO of OCEARNR, sustainable, eco-friendly activewear for life in and around the water will join Jack Norman, co-founder of Zirkulu, a premium outdoor apparel company, as guest speakers at Republic of Work on South Mall on November 9th at 5pm.

Shana Chu, founder and CEO of Tailr, an innovative cloud-based SaaS platform that helps clothing brands streamline production, will also speak at the Future of Fashion 2030 & Beyond event.

No longer just a buzzword; sustainability is a powerful movement that’s reshaping how we view our planet and lifestyle. The textile and apparel industry is at the forefront of this transformation with consumers increasingly favouring sustainability, vegan leather, organic materials, and eco-friendly accessories when making their fashion choices.

The Future of Fashion 2030 & Beyond evening is part of the 2050 Ecosystem, which aims to bring the wider sustainability ecosystem together, giving participants the opportunity to collaborate on climate-focused initiatives.

Aimed at fashion-forward thinkers and sustainability aficionados, the themes of the evening will include material innovation, circular fashion, and smart design and production.

If you fancy being part of the sustainable fashion revolution, you can RSVP here.
