By Yay Cork May 10, 2023May 10, 2023

It’s a riot of colour and detail.

Cork Printmakers Members Exhibition will open at Lavit Gallery on Wandesford Quay, Cork City on Thursday, May 18th, running until June 10th, with a feast of spectacular pieces to delight visitors of all ages.

Featuring new work by over 50 Cork Printmaker’s artists, the exhibition, which is a bi-annual event at Lavit Gallery, celebrates the diverse practices and approaches to fine art printmaking by local artists.

Among the pieces to check out this year are Emma O’Hara’s striking Monsoon Season and Bríd Moynahan’s etching, Home is Where the Heart Is.

With over 100 members, Cork Printmakers artists work across traditional and contemporary fine art printmaking techniques including lithography, etching, screenprint, relief print, as well as expanded print practice which incorporates video, sculpture, and installation.
