You can catch a free outdoor screening of An Cailín Ciúin in Schull

What a setting.
Film fans will be treated to a pair of memorable outdoor movie screenings in the seaside village of Schull as part of this year’s Fastnet Film Festival.
Back by popular demand, the outdoor screen in the park will host free screenings of Oscar-nominated movies An Cailín Ciúin and Wolfwalkers on Sunday, May 28th at 4pm and 6.30pm.
The festival, which will take place in Schull from Wednesday, May 24th to Sunday, May 28th, regularly attracts big names in the world of film (last year Paul Mescal was among the celebs spotted hanging out in the village and Saoirse Ronan has also been known to drop by).

Award-winning actor Aidan Quinn will screen three of his features and take part in ‘The Big Interview’ with Greg Dyke.
Later, Oscar-winning filmmakers Ross White and Tom Berkeley will screen ‘An Irish Goodbye’ followed by a Q&A with award-winning director Lenny Abrahamson. Tom and Ross will also host the now-famous film quiz, while Catherine Clinch, the quiet girl herself, will take part in a Q&A following the screening of An Cailín Ciúin as part of Irish Language Film Day on Cape Clear.
There will be over 60 participating guests in this year’s line-up, which features a series of seminars, masterclasses, and workshops covering action scenes, editing, casting, auditioning, cinematography, and acting.
This year’s country focus is on Ukrainian film. Anna Machukh, executive director of the Ukrainian Film Academy, and Ukrainian actress Daryna Trehubova will present a curated programme of Ukrainian films, while fringe events include live music, drama, and book readings all over town.
